By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to share ill treatment with God’s people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, considering the reproach of the Messiah greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them. By faith they passed through the Sea of Suf as on dry land. When the Egyptians tried to do so, they were swallowed up.
Hebrews 11:24-29
Some seasons of hardship lasts longer than others. For one particular person it lasted for 12 years. She faced rejection and bearing the name of untouchable. Unclean they would murmur if she even dared to step outside of the boundaries of her humble abode. The loneliness gripped her heart in the same fashion as the disease gripped her womb. Yet, there is One that would wander into her village and she knew with every fibre of her being that He would be more than able to restore, to redeem. So, she responded to that desperate hope. Messiah, the One who delivers, who saves, who heals all our disease, who crowns us with favour and compassion, who satisfies our years with good things so that our youth can be renewed like the eagle.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Psalm 103: 2-5
She would soar again like an eagle, if only she could touch Him for a fraction of a second. He would touch her, and many to come, for eternity.
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease.”
Mark 5:34
I have been
As one unseen
One unclean
Untouched
Unwashed
Unwanted
Time that has been taunted
Locust filled
Hope spoiled and spilled
Garments blood stained
Restrained by tears
Torn apart by shame
Until I heard
the mentioning of
Your Name
Like ointment poured out
I first saw You amongst the crowd
This is the One my heart longs for
This is the One,
this is the Door
The Way and the Truth
I can move through
The Life I can run to
Death has gripped
my heart and my womb
Hope sprung up
like Lazarus’ tomb
Spring at long last
Living
Lasting
Peace surpassing
All understanding
His tzittzit between my fingertips
His name like oil on my lips
“Yeshua…save me”
The only One
That can make me free
Bravely I dared to touch
Knowing that just a brief brush
Of even His robe
Could heal and restore hope
‘Who touched Me?” He said
Humbly I bowed down my head
“It was I” was my reply
“Beloved,
This is your story to tell
You faith has made you well
Go in peace
You are cured from this disease”
Forever I am changed
No longer estranged
I am one truly clean
One deeply and dearly seen
Forever touched
Eternally washed
His eyes lit with flame
Consumed all reproach and all shame
I am made whole
He is the Redeemer
And lover of my soul
May Abba restore, revive and redeem your life according to the riches of His grace, within His perfect will. May He meet you were you are, even amongst the crowd and the great multitude. For you are precious and honoured in His sight.
In Him, we live and move and have our being
Chag sameach and shalom

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Messiah, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love, having predestined us for adoption as children through Yeshua the Messiah to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He freely gave us favour in the Beloved. In Him we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound towards us in all wisdom and prudence, making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him
