Or maybe it is the fear-porn and psycho-dramas of the mainstream news that is your preferred hypnosis.

Its all part of the voodoo to numb you down. Entertainment? ENTER-tainment enters into you. The masses become spellbound by the brainwash buffet they chose to indulge in. There is a reason they call it programs, you know. Who is being programmed?

They portray good as evil and evil as good. Let the lies enter and program you. Corrupting the image of Yah is their mandate.

They indulge in deceiving the innocent. Wolves in suit and tie, or more recently, white lab coats. This is the reason we never had a TELL-LIE-VISION. The modern day false prophets are no longer limited to small lost sheep congregations but are now being broadcast in all languages you can think of, to the four corners of the earth.

For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

His law is perfect. When we behold Yeshua, the Word made flesh, we can become like Him. Let us imitate the Messiah that imitated the Father. We need to look to the One that created us and not all the vultures of the culture around us.

If we are not glued to the meaningless glow of our screens, we can hear the Set-apart Spirit speak or meditate on the timeless Word, already spoken.

His doctrine brings life and more importantly fruit. And we read about what the fruit of the spirit is in Galatians 5:22-23.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

This begs the question; Edgar how do we bear fruit of the spirit?

Psalm 1:1-3 KJV

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

We bear the fruit of the Ruach (Holy Spirit) when we are immersed in His Word and His Words abide in us. We have to be intentional about this. This will not happen automatically. We need to make time and create a space to cultivate spiritual growth. This takes time and a sacrificial mind set.

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Brothers and sisters, now is not a time to buy the extended package of cable TV or binge watch series or consent in any other form of voluntary entertainment enslavement. And that 3 hours of sports on a Saturday, lay it on the altar, bro. Watch the 5 min highlights if you really need to. Do not sacrifice;

precious family time or

time in Yah\’s Word

or prayer

on the altar of sports.

Not.

Worth.

It.

Do you know how many guys I run into that do not have time to spend with their families, or read the bible or even pray properly? Yet, they still manage to squeeze in 3 hours of sports, TV or browse mindlessly on their phones for hours.

I am preaching to myself here, and may my brothers keep me accountable.

The bottom-line is, that the war in the spirit is only intensifying from here on out. If we do not go about it now, we might completely miss our calling and purpose. That would be the greatest loss of all.

2 Peter 1:10

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble

If you were created by the Maker of heaven and earth, and you did not even stop to realign to His powerful purpose for your life, wouldn\’t that be the greatest tragedy of all? Instead you got too busy binge watching nonsense or enslaved to cable TV sports or you cannot let go of your adult pacifier (mobile phone) for 2 hours.

The zombie nation has been born. If we do not have the power to let go of these earthly crutches, how are we suppose to fly in the power of the Ruach (Holy Spirit)? Brothers and sisters, refrain from opening your gates to the brutality of the Enemy\’s propaganda and focus on Yeshua. Let us lift up our gates, so that the King of Glory may enter in!
